Playing and local progress

ROWPOP can be played without creating a separate game account. The game stores your current board, scores, progress, missions, rewards, unlocked themes, purchase entitlements and settings on your device. Local reminders are scheduled only if you allow notifications. The game does not operate an account database, chat or a cloud service for synchronising your saved game.

Apple purchases and Game Center

Apple processes payments. ROWPOP uses StoreKit to verify product and transaction information and to unlock or restore purchases. We do not receive payment-card details. Non-consumable purchases can be restored with the Apple account that bought them; consumed undo moves cannot be restored. If you use Game Center, Apple associates your player identity with submitted scores and achievements, and your Game Center name and results can be visible on leaderboards. You can manage this service in Apple's settings. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Advertising and your choices

ROWPOP uses Google AdMob for advertisements, including optional rewarded videos. Google’s User Messaging Platform presents applicable privacy choices. Where required, personalised advertising and cross-app tracking depend on your consent and Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Refusing tracking does not prevent you from playing. Non-personalised or limited advertisements may still involve processing necessary for delivery, security, fraud prevention and measurement.

The advertising SDK can process an IP address and approximate location derived from it, advertising or app/device identifiers, advertisement impressions and interactions, device and app information, and diagnostics. ROWPOP does not request precise location permission. You can revisit available advertising choices through the game's privacy settings and change tracking permission in iOS Settings. The ad-free purchase suppresses advertisements, including rewarded videos, while keeping the corresponding reward actions available. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's partner-app information.

Usage measurement, crash reports and configuration

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure predefined events such as game starts and ends, mode choices, scores, progress, purchases and advertisement interactions. Firebase can associate events with an app-instance identifier and process device, app and general geographic information. This is pseudonymous processing; it is not a promise that all SDK data is anonymous. ROWPOP does not provide a name, email address or a separate game-account ID to Analytics. Collection is controlled by the app's privacy flow and usage-statistics setting.

Firebase Crashlytics processes crash stack traces, app and device information, technical session identifiers and diagnostic context to help us fix faults. Analytics events may provide diagnostic breadcrumbs when both services are enabled. You can disable crash reporting separately in Settings. Firebase Remote Config retrieves configuration using technical installation, country, language, time-zone and app information; it does not upload the contents of your saved board. These services are provided by Google. See Firebase's privacy information.

Purposes, legal bases and transfers

Local gameplay and requested purchase benefits are provided under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Optional tracking and processing that requires consent rely on Article 6(1)(a). Necessary fault diagnosis, security and fraud prevention can rely on Article 6(1)(f), with the available objection and opt-out controls; legally required records rely on Article 6(1)(c). This notice does not itself obtain consent. Apple and Google may process information outside the EU/EEA. Applicable adequacy decisions and contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required, are described by those providers.

Retention, deletion and rights

Local progress remains until removed through the game's reset controls or by deleting its app data, subject to device backups. Turning a collection setting off stops future collection governed by that setting; it does not automatically erase records already transmitted. Google and Apple retain service, diagnostic, measurement and transaction records according to their service settings and applicable legal obligations. Removing the app does not erase Apple purchase or Game Center records. Contact us for an access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, consent-withdrawal or objection request, identifying ROWPOP and the request. We may need sufficient information to locate a relevant record, and may not hold information stored only on your device. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Website processing and further rights information are described in the Konfora Apps privacy policy. Other apps and providers listed there are not automatically used by ROWPOP.
