This notice covers Foldpix for macOS, iPhone and iPad. Image processing happens locally. Foldpix has no advertising, tracking or analytics services and requires no account.

Images and file access

Foldpix processes the images you select, their file names and embedded metadata on your device to change format, file size or dimensions. System file and photo pickers grant access to selected files. Foldpix does not upload this content to our servers or an image-processing service.

Metadata and export

When metadata removal is enabled, personal metadata such as location, capture time and camera information is removed from the new file. Information needed to display the image correctly may be retained. This does not alter the original file. Visible image content is not anonymised.

Results and previews are created locally. Exported files remain at the location you choose until you delete them. The app may save preferences on your device. If you choose to share an image or export it to iCloud Drive or another cloud folder, the selected service processes it under its own terms. Device backups follow your system settings.

Purchases and Apple services

Apple handles the App Store purchase and download as an independent controller. Foldpix has no in-app purchases or subscription. We receive no payment information from the app. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for Apple’s processing.

Support

If you email us, we process your email address, message and voluntary attachments to answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual matters, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Article 6(1)(f). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request or meet legal obligations. Please do not send private images unless they are necessary for your enquiry.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability and object to processing. Contact hallo@konfora.de. We cannot access files stored only on your device; you manage and delete them yourself. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg.

This website

Opening this help page sends technical connection data to the hosting provider so it can deliver the page. Details are in the website privacy notice. This is separate from Foldpix’s local image processing.
